Okay, whichever of these bills, you pick you get to keep. You can pick one of these three bills and you get to keep it james, just the bagels wait for me, george, wait for me, so this is candace's dad stanley's boat, he retired and bought himself. This boat yeah, we try to go on it once a week. It's like a family activity.

Are you turning around? I feel there might be a good camera sure. Well, it might affect our audio synchro. What is that noise? Isn't that good? That's the keys! I just switch it off experience. How long were you a doctor for stanley since 19 72? I reckon how long have you been retired.

I've been retired for two years and how is it it's the most? It's the best thing. I've ever done. You don't get bored! No, i love doing just whatever comes my way. I love looking at amazon and buying little things for five dollars and i enjoy spending the the fruits of my work.

How long do you think you can sustain this before you get bored? I don't think i'll ever get bored. Of course, i don't have much luck to live, why you say that, because it's true, i'm a doctor, okay, so retirement is retirement, is understood as this thing that you you earn this reward you get for a life of hard work. You get to spend the last chapter of your life just enjoying the fruits of your labor. It's a romantic, beautiful idea that i think some people like stanley are lucky enough to achieve.

Then there's this other like really romantic idea that i probably read in a self-help book or something like that that says, rather than waiting towards the end of your life, take years of your life throughout your life to just enjoy the fruits of your labor. When i moved out to la the goal was to do just that and that's what i did and for the last year i've been doing nothing. I just like been hanging out with the kids and surfing and it's been wonderful, but it's also been confusing. You know like ambition or the desire to do more or make something of yourself it's very hard to turn that off.

So while i've i've been enjoying my time in the back of my head, it's like what do i want to do next, and one thing that i've found is that that's a very hard question to answer. It's a really hard thing to figure out while you're doing nothing and so, and so here i am, and it's it's been a year and i'm now like really trying to find that focus again to figure out what i want to do with this next chapter of My career and my pursuit - i haven't figured out yet stanley. What was candace like when she was young. She was um, she was scary.

She was scary. She was like my mother called her evil evil, evil evil. We left stanley alone for, like 20 minutes he's driving. This guy's brand new corvette around the block stanley what'd.

You think i put my foot down when i was out of sight. We heard you jesus christ. It goes like crazy man, you.

Enjoyed this one so much, I also believe in taking time out during your life instead of waiting until the end, guess that's why I live on an island at the moment. Quick question – Is your in-laws, and I guess your wife as well, South African because that accent sounds familiar?

What to do next? Get saved . Give your life to Jesus. Have true meaning in life and you won’t be searching anymore. You’ll have true contentment

''Know that this worldly life is no more than play, amusement, luxury, mutual boasting, and competition in wealth and children.
This is like rain that causes plants to grow, to the delight of the planters.
But later the plants dry up and you see them wither, then they are reduced to chaff.
And in the Hereafter there will be either severe punishment or forgiveness and pleasure of Allah,
whereas the life of this world is no more than the delusion of enjoyment.'' Quran, 57: 20

Why is she wearing that mask!!!! Do not be afraid! Get rid of all cognitive dissonance! Live, be free, free others, we know deep down, this entire narrative is to enslave. We need influencers like you to show people to not be afraid.

I'm 64 years old and trust me, you gotta be rich to retire and die because this government sucks the life right out of ya. I'll be working till I drop dead I guess.

in this situation non educated is better because the thing that is going to happen will happen if you give a shit or not

Just create. Modern day Picasso here. Quality over quantity = value. Quantity cheapens the quality. Let your next project inspire. You have proven the test of time, and produced quality in a short amount of time. Now indulge in rest and inspiration. Reep the fruits of your labor and enjoy rest and explore the world experiences/stories with your family. It seems as though You've found happiness, you look refreshed and well rested.

Everyone’s retirement ends up being the same, they spend all of their remaining days seeing different Doctors. Not to live longer, it’s just that they’re falling apart.

There is a difference between finding peace in doing nothing and being lazy….clearly Stanley "paid his dues". I am a sixth generation Floridian who NEVER tires of boats and water….rock on Stanley…you are welcome on my boat at any time. I'll mix the martini's and give you a rod to hold. And we can talk about how we no longer worry about having to care what we'll do next.

I like Stanley am retired. 63. It is not perfect for sure. You spend your life in the quest of success. You never achieve it. Then you retire. Something is not fulfilled. Very strange feeling.

Great video! I think there is a built-in need for humans to make stuff – to be creative and constructive and positively make a difference. That makes the push against retirement and "just chilling out" a real thing. It is also why so many retired people die a little younger than they should have…they stop feeling like they contribute. A tough balance to strike. Thanks for making this.
