I think it’s time I explained why gun control will never work. Have you people ever heard of the Prohibition Era? If not, let me tell you about it. It was a period during the 1920s where the US government, after listening to some masses, tried to ban and outlaw alcoholic beverages. They hoped it would reduce crime and help society, like people today hope with gun control. But, it had the opposite effect, it made crime skyrocket and mass protesting was taking place, demanding alcohol to be legal again. There were some officers that enforced this law, but they were few and far between, and were easily bribed. People found ways to sneak pass this law, by making homemade alcoholic beverages and smuggling them. Even several gangs emerged because of the prohibition era, including Al Capone’s infamous mob. They specialized in smuggling alcohol and selling it Illegally, and this result in many turf wars, including the infamous Valentine’s Day massacre. Eventually, the government saw that this law was going nowhere fast, and lifted the ban. Now, look at a society under gun control: Crime rates would increase with smuggling and hiding weapons, people would actively create guns at home(which you actually can do), and new gangs would emerge revolving around this new trade. And worse, innocent people would be left with nothing to defend themselves, and a gun outpaces any other weapon by a long-shot. So, with this in mind, gun control will be impossible to enact.

This comment really has no point by now. Anyway, I´ve read a lot of comments that basically
blame YouTube for this event. I know their policies are harmful for a lot of creators but that´s no excuse for taking these kind of actions.
