Casey is so talented an has incredible work ethic. I think the fact that he had a kid at such a young age kept him grinding. Aside from that being in the heart of NYC as a backdrop for his videos and the energy there creates the perfect storm of creation. I'm glad I started watching his videos , they have breathed some new life into me.

here 4 years later and this still slaps.
the media world was so different when i was starting out. to aspire to work in it meant; TV, Movie Theatre Movies or stuff for film festivals. Then i learned about Spike Jonze and Michel Gondry – they were just guys with great ideas and a camera. Seeing their work + their success really gave me confidence to chase after it. So wild to think that now with youtube we can all find that director or artist or creator that motivate us.. and we don't have to hope they release a dvd. we are living in really exciting times for this medium.
