When my oldest moved out, i cried for 3 days. It was so awful. I was so proud of her for doing all the grown up stuff. I purchased stuff for her 1st apartment.
But my baby moved away.
The dichotomy is ever present between protecting and letting them go.
Absolutely the roughest part of being a parent. Learning when to let go and when to hold tight.
Never had a dad to share these experiences with, but after seeing how great of a dad Casey is inspires me to be the best dad ever! Love you Casey!
