Maybe im weird, but if im forced to watch an ad before a youtube video. If the creator im watching is in the ad and theyre being funny, im 80% more likely to actually watch the ad instead of skipping it.
Here in 2022. Watching videos now, sometimes its 2 or even 3 ads and sometimes theyre 30 seconds to a minute fuckin long. Its not about the community at all anymore.
Rewatching this. The amount of money YouTube is missing out from having creators mostly bypass them for paid sponsorships is crazy. How they haven’t successfully done this on scale is crazy
Why don't you start up a competitor to You Tube Casey. Your the perfect person to do that. If you keep it simple and nix the censorship you will be overwhelmed with business. You will encounter plenty resistance but our Constitution is clear. These people have really not been challenged. I think Facebook is actually trying to say they are running under EU rules… that hasn't been tested in the Supreme Court. The Censorship has to go… I didn't grow up in Communist China and I refuse to live in it.
