Help Treat the Pain by giving them your money - www.cancer.org/treatthepain
I traveled to Uganda with Mathias Kiwanuka, defensive end for the NY Giants and all around great guy. His family has deep roots in Uganda and he still has a lot of family there. We went with a group called Treat the Pain, part of the American Cancer Society, they organize and help groups distribute pain medication to folks dying of AIDS and Cancer. It's a difficult task and an effort that's hard to get people to care about because it's not at all easy to talk about disease pain and death. This was why I donated my time and energy to make this movie. My Nana dedicated so much of her life to help others dealing with Cancer, it's nice to know I have the opportunity to do the same.

Great video, Casey. I can't help but wonder how Treat the Pain and Hospice Uganda Africa manages to get the drinks containing the morphine delivered to the palliative care facilities and to the patients in their care, while at the same time preventing gangs of thieves and profiteers from stealing and selling the medicine on the black market. Corruption is rampant in many African nations and crime lords often control the transport and distribution of narcotic medicines to their intended recipients.
I'm deaply thankful for you going to Uganda because I'm Ugandan and most of my family live there thank you so much casey your the best
God bless you❤️🙏
God Bless u Casey
