The YouTube Music Awards were pretty incredible. It's so rad that they did it. The way people voted, the way the awards were hosted. All of it was just way outside the box. It was total chaos, not sure if watching on YouTube conveyed how nuts it was, but to be there was some experience.

One of the most hilarious things and you will see this in the background is clothing goes flying through the air like fireworks right before the start it’s just one of the funniest things and my advice is anyone going into this for the first time is when you’re going over the bridge the Verrazano Bridge watch your footing because there’s gonna be so much clothing some of it really nice clothing that you might trip over
I’m so sorry they gave you a green start in 2013 that is so bogus the green start is not the real marathon we both know that the upper deck of the bridge is the real marathon with the helicopters and the news cameras and the cannon going off that’s the marathon I feel bad for anyone who got a green start ever I had a green start in 2014 I just found out you ran 2014 it was very anticlimactic although still freaking amazing my slowest marathon out of 10 NYC: marathons because I only have trained because I got sick but it was still fun AF I’m glad that you got VIP status in the VIP tent and the VIP start now. I tell everyone who has or has not been to NYC: that NYC: marathon is literally the best day of the year I don’t care what holiday is amazing as they all are but marathon day everyone is nice everyone is happy it’s the best day

Uff. That is by far the most underrated movie from Neistat. It is extremely well edited and its message is astonishing: he may refer to New York City but it is applicable on life itself: sometimes there are days when you do multiple productive and outstanding things in just one day. It even may be in contrast to the rest of the week! And the art to deal with these challenging days, is not to see the components as obstructions (thus excuses) but as little parts of a big and fun puzzle that you can’t wait to complete. This guy ran a marathon and directly went to an award. Wow. Just wow.
