If you don’t live in NYC never have never rode a bike and NYC: or Rob boosted board here’s what it feels like it feels like you’re and I don’t even know if I needed you guys are gonna get this reference because I’m older than probably most to be watching it feels like being a ping-pong ball in a ping-pong machine you’re really not in control you’re gonna bounce off stuff for sure you’re probably gonna get hurt you might not you probably will make it to your destination maybe with some bumps and bruises but it is what it is
Hold up I think this is the only time I’ve ever seen Casey wear a helmet and it’s probably just because he has a camera on it right but whatever
I’ll tell you what my friends I have never felt more safe but not safe riding a bike not a motorized bike like an actual bike when I was training for triathlon through the streets of NYC: over to Brooklyn for work across the GWB to go upstate to Nyack because that’s a real cyclist you when you’re training for Iron Man I got hit I hit people I got knocked over many times but I feel so much safer felt so much safer riding a bike and running in NYC versus upstate because upstate is scary AF OK there are bears there are like no crackheads there may be bears on crack there are a lot of things to be scared of upstate I always felt safe running cycling even though I got hit knocked over and injured but I always felt safe in NYC I’ll be back
