So so, you've got waves and you've got swell waves or wind waves are waves that are on the surface of the water that are caused by the wind and swell swell is caused by like a distant weather system that creates waves that come from far away swell. Can be predicted like many days out and right now in southern california, there's a prediction for some pretty significant swell. It means big waves, there's supposed to be big waves right now, so this like um this like random guy emailed me and he was like yo casey. I live in l.a and i'd love to work with you in any capacity, and i was like nah i'm trying to make these videos on my own and he's like i'm up for anything, and i was like well anything if you want to come sit on the Beach for three hours, while i surf and every time you see me, come on a wave, you bust out this huge camera and take a picture of me.
That would be helpful and he was like okay richie one bit of good news i have for you is that i spray painted my wetsuit pink, so you'll have an easier time figuring out, which surfer is me. You know how hard it was to find you last time and like 20 dudes, all wearing black there's, definitely swell there's definitely size, there's not necessarily good rideable ways. It just kind of looks like a hurricane out there, all right going out so also the waves weren't that big i'm just not a good surfer. I tried to make it seem really intense with this awesome music but like there was like a 12 year old kid out there on a boogie board, but i mean it was still intense.

waves aren't created by wind, it's created by the earth's rotation, swells are normally caused by weather that picks up under currents

you saw the kite foating on the water, you knew the wind direction, so you should never even try to come closer floating kite. Sorry – "kiteidiot" cannot steer the kite in that situation, in such case YOU should do everyting to avoid collision. But you did not. So who is the "…."?
